INTRODUCTION - NYAMAESET REJUVENATION CENTRE (NYRC) is a vegetarian, Non-Government Organization (NGO) committed to Spiritual Development, Holistic Healing and Psychical Research.

It is a rejuvenation of the noble (but neglected in recent times) Cultural sect called Nyama (Ndam) who were the traditional Queens (AKU IDEM) and propagated a balanced and healthy living in society. They trained the maidens (Mbopo), and mothered all the present forms of cultural display including Ekpo, Ekpe, Ekong, Ubon Iban Etc.

NYRC is here to revive that original essence in womanhood and bring man into a state of harmony with his inner self, the laws of nature and his Maker.

NYRC is Founded by Comfort . Udoh PhD. Its lovely Gardens and Spring is located at Okong-Nte-Okong, in Ikot Mem in Obot Akara Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria. A tourist center indeed, with a large landscape and the serenity of nature; birds, rabbits, fish, monkeys etc.

NYRC, intends to partner with NGOs and the Ministry of Culture and tourism, to promote her rich cultural heritage and tourist activities in the state and beyond.

THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE CENTRE ARE:

• The promotion of natural health practices; Vegetarianism, Herbs and Proper breathing exercises.
• The promotion of Love for Nature, Environmental Preservation and Beneficial Cultural practices e.g. Non Pollution and the Protection of Women
